| Our LaRonde mine is located approximately 60 kilometres west of Val D’Or in the Abitibi-Temiscamingue region of Northwestern Quebec and employs approximately 730 people. The 7,200-tonne-per-day mine is expected to produce approximately 290,000ounces of gold annually through 2015, and mine life lasting through 2023. LaRonde has an estimated 4.8 million ounces of gold in proven and probable reserves,which are among the largest gold reserves for any operating mine in Canada. |

Summary
|
Under the authority of the Ventilation Engineer, the Ventilation Technician updates the main and secondary venting systems. |
|
Responsibilities
|
• To do so, he/she has to monitor underground ventilation conditions and takes necessary readings; • He/She works with the other members of the ventilation department in order to do his/her job effectively. |

Qualifications
|
• The ideal candidate has a college diploma in mineral technology; • He/She must be organized and able to work well in team; • Moreover, he/she must be able to work methodically, with precision and accurately; • The candidate must be aware of the importance of respecting and promoting health and safety at work.
